2022 Peatland and Restoration

Peatland & Restoration

Peatland areas are a significant carbon store. Protecting this store is of prime importance in achieving our climate targets. A range of both government and private sector initiatives provide some guidance and a broad framework for action in reducing GHG emissions and protecting the carbon stock from degrading.

Our approach is based on survey, monitoring and verification using a fusion of data from multiple sources and platforms to allow reliable assessment, credible data and evidence based outcomes to allow best use of available resources, attract greater investment and enhance the value of tradable credits.

We will use a range of sensing technologies using satellites to UAS drones to support survey and reliable monitoring with the ability to measure and quantify GHG with real direct measurement.
